The Record’s view: City chicken farming might fly


Chickens are most commonly found in the cities of Waterloo Region after being pan-fried, deep-fried, baked, broiled, boiled into soup or chopped up and turned into nuggets.

The domesticated fowl are far less frequently encountered alive and clucking, flapping their wings, pecking the ground and going about their main business of laying eggs.
