Yes i totally 100% agree with the former Post.

The CEO of the BEIC should resign he and his members the Packers are totally responsible for the mess honest hard working producers find themselves in.
But as in Poltics there is no honour any more and he will keep drawing his fat salery and making more daft rules for the rest of us to obey.

Resign Man

Quite agree with the comment below the Beic are a dreadful organisation and are massively responsible for the mess we find ourselves in there CEO should resign.
But am afraid Bfrepa are just as much to blame through there lack of action.....wake up smell the coffee, action at some point will have to be taken.

Reply to "I am losing money" comment < You blame yourself then, I prefer to blame the ones who are responsible for this crisis ie the large packers posting obscene profits taken from producers and the BEIC for helping them to do it.

Illegal egg in lion packing stations has been a problem for a long time and has had the most damaging effect on our industry.

I am losing money and there cannot be many producers who are not. But I am not in the camp that blames everyone else. But it is essential BFREPA do everything they can to ensure no foreign illegal egg enters the UK.

Reply to the "I dont agree" comment, illegal french egg is coming into this country now through the back door into packing stations,
If more producers got a bit more angry and where prepared to stand up for themselves instead of lying down to be trodden on we would not be in this dire situation with packers robbing us blind after creating the surplus and most producers just accepting it,
I take it by the last bit that you are making it pay if you are you must be the only producer who is?

I dont agree with the comment posted. If illegal egg was to come into this country you will certainly know the meaning of suffering. BFREPA are absolutely right to put pressure on the authorities to make sure this does not happen. I have been to many BFREPA and NFU meetings and this is the one subject that worries most producers.

You really need to stop being so angry, blaming everyone else and face facts. Too many producers have entered this market. Supermarkets will not pay over the odds for a commodity that is in too much supply. If I came to you and offered you feed and pullets more than you can buy them elsewhere would you take them from me. Of cause not.

You seem to be one of these people who blame everybody else but yourself.

If you cannot make it pay. Get out. Theres plenty more to take your place.

Does BFREPA stand for free range producers or cage producers because it seems to me that BFREPA is doing a lot more about the cage ban than the hundreds of free range producers who are suffering untold hardship whilst being bled dry by the packers resulting now in foreclosures by many banks on their farms urgent action is now needed to put a halt to this legal robbery.
