About Free Range
More and more families, major stores, chefs and restaurants are insisting that their eggs should be free range. As a result nearly eight million hens already enjoy the fresh air lifestyle. That’s nearly one in four of all the hens on British farms…and the numbers are growing. Every one of these hens has the same freedom to scratch, flap, dustbathe and roam in the open air as farmyard hens have for decades. But to meet your demands for freshness, hygiene and traceability, farmers have developed a modern system of free range which combines old fashioned farming virtues with all the very latest in agricultural science and technology and on a scale that ensures eggs remain affordable for every family.
